The box dimensions are 1- 1/2″ x 4- 1/2″ x 6″

side panel: 3/4″ x 5- 3/4″

end panel: 3/4″ x 5- 3/4″

Mini Gift Card Holder

Xmass mini gift card holder

This little gift card holder came to me the other night after I had watched one made by  She made a match book for the jewellery that she sells.

I woke up about 4am with this idea and just had to get up and make it ( this drives my husband crackers, as I rattle around in my craft room which is next door to our bedroom).

We made it in my advanced card class the other night and all the lady’s really liked it.

I’m going to make a few more to have at hand for Christmas when you need to give a quick gift to someone.

The measurements are:

Card stock Glacier: 7-3/4′ x 2-3/4′

Score on the long side @ 1-1/2′, 5-1/8′ & 5-1/4′

Front Top: Matting panel; 2′ x 2-5/8′  Whisper card stock X5929

Paper panel; 1-7/8′ x 2-1/2′  Snowhaven X7188B

Front Bottom: Matting; 1-3/8′ x 2-5/8′ Whisper X5929

Front panel; 1-1/4′ x 2-1/2′ White Daisy 1385

Back panel: 3-3/8′ x 2-5/8′ White Daisy 1385

Tools used: Trimmer Z1783, Score board Z1937, Mini Stapler Z2027, Liquid Glass Z679, Stamp set Holiday Tags D1560, Cranberry Ink Z2116 and Whisper Ink Z2172.

I also used a 1/8′ hole punch, a 9′ piece of twine, a snow flake punch and 3D foam squares.

I hope that you like this little gift holder and give it a go.

till next time, keep on creating 😉

Double Fold Centre Card

IMG_0041 IMG_0042This is a great little card.

I learnt this one from my friend Justine ( a Stampin up demonstrator) and I thought that I would like to share it with you.

I have used my favourite stamp set again ‘Someone Special’ C1607 and I have also used the ‘Happy Birthday’ from the stamp set ‘Holiday Tags’ D1560

The measurements for this card are:

Card stock (White Daisy) 10′ x 4′ and score @ 5′

Centre fold panel (Canary) 11′ x 4′ .  Score on the long side @ 1/2′, 3′, 5-1/2′ turn to the other end and score @ 1/2′ and 3′, or if you are using a 12′ score board, score @ 1/2′, 3′, 5-1/2′, 8′ and 10-1/2′ .

I used a Chevron boarder punch on both the 11′ edges of the centre fold panel.

Cut 4 White Daisy pieces @ 2-3/4′ x 2-1/4′

Front Panel (White Daisy) 4-1/2′ x 3-1/2′

Front Matting panel (Canary) 4-3/4′ x 3-3/4′

I also used a piece of White Shimmer Trim Z3024, Canary ink Z2643, Sweet Leaf ink Z2153 and Slate ink Z2173

This was the card I made for last Christmas. The large Snowflake is heat embossed with silver and so is the one on the inside. The card stock is Glacier and White Daisy.

I hope that you give this card a go.
