Secret Slider Card

Hi everyone 🙂

Here is a nice little card that is interactive with the receiver.

As you can see, the centre panel pulls down to reveal a message on the inside as well as a hidden message on the underneath section on the front.

Here are the measurements and the video:

Card stock: 8-1/2′ x 5-1/2′    Score on the 8-1/2′ side @ 1/2′ & 4-1/2′

Paper panel: 5-1/4′ x 3-3/4′

Slider panel: 4-3/4′ x 3-7/8′    Place the 4-3/4′ side in the trimmer @ 2′ mark and cut down to 3-1/4′

Front Panel: 4′ x 2-1/2′ (this one fits between the two cut lines)

Slider front panel: 3-5/8′ x 2-1/2′

Small slide panel: 2-1/4′ x 1-3/4′

Here are some pictures to help you see how to cut the card.

These two pictures show you how to cut the front panel of the card (add the paper to the front section before you cut) and keep the 1/2′ score line to your right.

These two pictures show how to cut and insert the slider panel into the card (make sure that you add the thumb punch to the bottom of the card before you add the slider panel)

The card stock used: Whisper , Sorbet and White Daisy

The paper used: Charlotte paper pack

Stamp sets used: Springtime Wishes C1641 and Wavy Blooms D1651

Also used where the New Thin Cuts for Springtime Wishes stamp set and the Thumb Notch punch.

Shutter Card for Valentine’s Day

I have been going through some of my kits from 2014 and I came across this shutter card that I made in my advanced cards class. I thought that I would share some of the cards and boxes that we made back then as well as some new ones.

Card stock: 8-1/2′ x 5-1/2′

Score on 8-1/2′ side @ 2-1/8′ & 6-3/8′

Front matting panels: 1-7/8′ x 5-1/4′  cut 2 card stock

Patterned pieces: 1-5/8′ x 5′ cut 2

Middle matting panel: 3′ x 5-1/2′

Patterned panel: 2-3/4′ x 5-1/4′

Shutter panels: 3-1/4′ x 3′ cut 2

Score on the 3-1/4′ side @ 3/8′

Shutter card instructions

the paper that have use on this card is from the Zoe paper pack and the card stock is Sorbet, the stamp sets used are, Animal Greeting: D1679 (Operation Smile) and Stamp of the Month, Beloved Bouquet: S1601

The bear is coloured in using the ShinHan Markers, Clay Z2451, Black Z2446 and Peony Purple Z2462

Stamp Of The Month: January 2016

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New year.

I had a wonderful time with all of my family.

So now to a new year of stamping and creating cards and boxes, to share with you.

Every month I’m going to show you our new SOTM, either as a card or on a scrapbook page.

We made this little care at our Seasonal Expression Launch last Friday night.

It showcased the Stamp of the Month for January 2016.

So here are the measurements and video:

White Daisy card stock: 8′ x 4′    Score @ 4′

Basics Paper Fundamentals, Black: 3-3/4′ x 3-3/4′

Pixie card stock: 3-1/4′ x 3-1/4′

Basics Paper Fundamentals, Black: 2-1/2′ x 2-1/2′

White Daisy card stock: 2-3/8′ x 2-3/8′

And an extra piece for stamping on in White Daisy.

I have cut the leaves a part and then glued them to the back of the flower.
