Little Pirate Explosion Card

Hi everyone 🙂

I hope that this post finds you all enjoying your Easter holiday break with your family and friends.

I taught this card last month in my advanced card class. All the lady’s loved it.

The one we made used the balloon stamp set from February SOTM, but as that ones no longer available I thought that it would look good made up with the Pirate Birthday stamp set  A1186 from the Seasonal Expressions 1 catalogue which ends at the end of April.

Easel card using Stamp of the Month for March 2016

Hi everyone 🙂

Here is the card that we made last Friday night at our workshop.

Easel card SOTM

Its a nice ease card to make and it showcases the Stamp of the Month.

here are the measurements and the video

White Daisy Card: 5-1/2′ x 4-1/4. Trim of 1/4′ from the top and 1/4′ from the open side edge so that the card measures 5-1/4′ x 4′

Thistle Back Panel: 5-1/2′ x 4-1/4′

Canary Front Panel: 3-1/4′ x 4′

White Daisy Front Panel: 3′ x 3-3/4′

Side Panel in Penelope: 1-3/4 x 3-3/4′

Open the card and place the 5-1/4′ side in your trimmer @ 2′ and cut down to the score line.

Tuck the smaller panel under and place the card on the 8′ side onto your score board and score @ 2′. This is the easel section.

This stamp set will be gone by the end of this month, so if you would like it now is the time to buy it.

Sall Box

Hi everyone 😉

Here is a cute little box to share with your friends at Easter time. It holds one little Lindt Bunny inside.

This one also comes from my advanced card class. It’s dimensions are:  width- 1-1/2′, height-2-1/8′ & depth 1, so as you can see it’s a very small box.

Card stock: 5-1/2′ x 4-5/8′

Score on 5-1/2′ side @ 1′, 2-1/2′, 3-1/2′ & 5′

Score on 4-5/8′ side @ 1/2′, 1-1/2′ & 3-5/8′

Paper pieces: 1-7/8′ x 1-3/8′

one piece of acetate: 1-7/8′ x 1-3/8′

Greeting Banner: 5/8′ x 1-1/2′

The oval punch that I used is a Sullivans 1-1/2′ x 1-1/8′

Easter Basket

Here is the how to make this little Easter Basket that I taught in my advanced card class last month. It’s a little bit cute and it can hold a medium sized Easter egg or a small bag of little eggs.

Here are the measurements and video:

Easter Basket

Card stock: 6’ x 6’ in Gypsy.   Score on one 6’ side @ 2’ & 4’, turn 90 degrees and score on the this side @ 2′ & 4′

Top Band: 11-1/2’ x 1/2′ in Gypsy   Score on 11-1/2’ side @ 2-3/4’ & 5-1/2’ then turn to the other end and Score 1/2’ & 3-1/4’

White Shimmer Trim: 11-1/2′

Handle: 8’ x 1/2′ in Gypsy

Zip Strip (from the top of the paper): 8′

Side Panels: 2’ x 2’ in Kaleidoscope cut 4

White Daisy: 2-1/2′ x 3′ (to stamp and cut out the bunny)

Card stock: Gypsy X5757

Paper:  Kaleidoscope (as I though that this piece of paper looked like it had little Easter Eggs all over it). X7202B

Accessories:  White Shimmer Trim Z3024 and some Sparkles Z1752 to finish.

Cricut Cut: Bow, page 55 from the Artiste cartridge Z3170 Accent 2 and the  Shift key cut @ 1′.
