Slider Boat Card

slider boat card 1

This is a great little card for a little boy, as the boat seems to float across the front of the card when you pull the centre panel out.

Floating Mother’s Day Card

HI everyone 🙂

Sorry I’m late with this post, but the computer and I both had a bit of an argument. It up graded to windows 10 and I had a melt down, as I’m not very tech savvy I had to wait for someone to help me, and that just happened to be my nephew.

So now I’m back up and running again, ready to show you all a lovely new project 🙂

floating card1

Well here it is, a Floating Mother’s Day Card.

I first saw this card made by France Martin on her Youtube channel.

I liked this card so much that I added it to my advanced card class. It went down a real treat with the ladies. We used the Loads of Fun C1623 stamp set. That class was all about cards and boxes for young boy.

We also made it in our Friday night workshop at Claremont, and I think that it was a great hit with all the lady’s too.

Here are the measurements and the video:

Card stock: 11′ x 4′

Floating Strip: 11′ x 1′

Score both these @ 2-3/4′ & 5-1/2′

1st matting panel: 3-3/4′ x 2-1/2′

2nd matting panel: 3-1/2′ x 2-1/4′

Front Panel: 2′ x 2′
