Gift Box Card Holder

Hi everyone 🙂

This is a great little gift card holder

I found many different ones like this on  Pinterest but I wanted one that folded down flat for storage, so you could make quite a few and store them in a box till you needed them.

You could fill the  little 1′ x 4′ box with some lollies or a lip balm or what ever you like to put in it.

It can be made in any colour and used for any occasion.

So here are the measurements, cutting guide and video:

Card stock: 7’ x 9-3/8’ in Juniper

Score on the 7’ side @ 1/2′, 1-1/2’, 5-1/2’ & 6-1/2’

Score on the 9-3/8’ side @ 1’, 2’, 3’, 4’ & 6-3/4’

Paper pieces: cut 1 @ 3-3/4’ x 1-1/2’

Cut 2@ 3-3/4’ x 3/4′

1 white Daisy circle 1-1/4’

1 Sea Glass Glitter circle 1-1/2’

Stamp set: Jolly Holiday C1654

  1. Fold and burnish all the score lines.
  2. Follow the cutting guide.
  3. Add glue to the top edge and the side edge, and fold over to form the pocket for the gift card.
  4. Add the 3-3/4’ x 1-1/2’ piece of paper to this section so that it has a 1/8’ boarder on the two sides and the top, near the fold.
  5. Using the thumb notch punch. Place the punch onto the open side at the top of the folded section.
  6. Add glue to the bottom 1’ section and fold the top section over to form the box.
  7. Add the other two pieces of paper to the top and front of the box.
  8. Stamp the circle sentiment onto the 1-1/4’ circle in Juniper Ink.
  9. Attach to the Sea Glass Glitter circle using glue dots.
  10. Attach to the front panel with 3D foam.

When not in use this box folds down flat for easy storage.
