Snow Globe Twisted Easel Card

Hi My crafty friends 🙂

My friend Desyne found this beautiful little card on Face Book, made by Bernadette Lewin, and she asked me if we could make this in one of my classes. So we did.

I just love this card, as it uses the new Tree Line Boarder Thin cuts. I think that this would make a great card for a baby’s first Christmas.

  3. Attach the White Daisy panel to the card front.
  4. Attach the Bashful matting panel with 3D foam dots.
  5. Using the 2-1/2’ basic circle, place it 1/2′ down from the top of the 3’ x 3’ White Daisy front panel and cut. Keep the circle.
  6. Using the tree line thin cuts. Cut out two of the double tree line and attach them in layers to the 2-1 circle and trim the excess away to fit the circle shape.
  7. Lay the front panel on top of the Bashful matting panel. Add adhesive to the back of the circle and place into the circle cut out.
  8. Lift of the front panel of and add some Bitty Sparkles and Clear Sparkles to the trees as well as some clear shimmer brush.
  9. Place the 2-3/4’ square clear sheet onto the back of the circle with glue dots.
  10. Add 3D foam dots to the back of the front panel and place it over the top of the tree covered circle.
  11. Stamp just the base of the Snow Globe onto the piece of Pebble card stock with Versamark ink. Add Silver embossing powder and heat set in place.
  12. Then cut out around the base section.
  13. Using 3D foam dots attach this to the base of the circle so that it just overlaps the circle and looks like a snow globe.
  14. Fold back the card and add a large Bashful pearl as a stopper for the card front.
  15. Add small Bashful Pearls to the corners of the front panel.                            This card comes from Bernadette Lewin, and is Desyne’s  request

I hope that you like my version of Bernadette’s card and give it a go .

so till next time,

Keep on creating and bye for now 🙂

Cut Above – Merry Everything Tag Front Card

Hi crafty friends 🙂

The paper for this Month is “Beary Christmas” so most of the projects and cards will feature this paper.

I just love this card that I found on Pinterest made by Michele Rowley. It’s such a great way to use the Cut Above -Tag Kit,  Merry Everything.

There are 10 in the pack for $12 Au, 5 Gold striped and 5 Silver dots plus 10 pieces of twine, 10 white circles, 5 Gold Glitter Bows and 5 Silver Glitter Bows.

The only thing extra is the 2-1/2′ Poppy Basic thin cut circle.

Here are the 4 small stamps from page 9 of the  Holiday Expressions catalogue. And they are all $4.50 each so you can choose just one or you can have all of them. What a bargain!!!

So here are the measurements, instructions and video:

White Cards & Envelopes Value Pack X254: 5-1/2′ x 4-1/4′

Beary Christmas paper X7225B: 5-1/2′ x 2-1/2

Silver Foil Z3366 or Gold Foil Z3365: 5-1/2′ x 3/4′

Poppy Card Stock X5963: 5-1/2′ x 1′

New England Ivy Card Stock X59594-1/4′ x 1/2′

1 Tag, Bow, Twine and 2′ white circle from the  Cut Above- Tag Kit Merry Everything Z4049, in Silver Or Gold.

Poppy Card stock X5963: 2-3/4′ x 2-3/4′ (cut the circle from this piece)

Basic Thin Cut Circle Z3318 2-1/2′ cut 1

Three Bitty Sparkles Z1263

Ink used: Poppy Z2852, or New England Ivy Z2835

  1. Adhere the Beary Christmas paper to the right hand side of the card.
  2. Adhere the Poppy strip to the folded side and then the foil strip.
  3. Cut a dove tail into one end of the New England Ivy.  Place it at the top, over the join between the paper and the foil.
  4. Stamp the greeting onto the white circle and adhere it to the Poppy circle.
  5. adhere these to the Tag front.
  6. Fold the Twine in half. Thread the looped end through the hole on top of the tag and then bring the two ends back through the twine looped end.
  7. place 3D foam dots onto the back of the tag and place it onto the front of the card so that it is centered over the New England Ivy piece.
  8. Place the two tails of the tag onto the inside of the card and stick down with some sticky tape. Trim of the excess twine.
  9. Adhere the Bow to the top of the circles and add some Bitty Sparkles to finish.

I hope that you liked this card and give it a go,

so till next time.

Keep on creating and Bye for now 🙂
